Which Indiana Counties are in Central Time Zone?

EST (7am
GMT ) the whole of Indiana adopted Daylight Savings Time. Most of Indiana
will in the Eastern Time Zone . For exceptions see below.
Pulaski County transferred from Central Time to Eastern
Time zone on Sunday 11 March 2007
The following exceptional counties will are in Central Time Zone
17 counties are in the Central Time Zone and adopt Daylight Saving Time.
In North-West Indiana 6 counties: Lake, Porter, Laporte, Newton, Jasper
&
Starke.
In South-West Indiana 11 counties: Knox, Daviess, Martin, Gibson, Pike,
Dubois, Posey, Vanderburg, Warrick, Spencer & Perry.
From 4 November 2007 The U.S. Department of
Transportation has decided that five South-western Indiana counties can move
back to the Eastern Time Zone . The counties of Knox, Daviess, Dubois,
Martin and Pike will move back to the Eastern Time Zone when Indiana moves
back its clock from daylight savings time, according to the ruling.Perry
County will remain on the Central Time Zone . It, too, had requested to move
to eastern time, but that request was denied by the federal government.
The following exceptional counties will be in Central Time Zone
from 4 November 2007
12 counties are in the Central Time Zone and adopt Daylight
Saving Time.
In North-West Indiana 6 counties: Lake, Porter, Laporte, Newton,
Jasper & Starke.
In South-West Indiana 6 counties: Gibson, Posey, Vanderburg,
Warrick, Spencer & Perry.
